Cartula International has taken its first steps into the African healthcare sector by signing an international reseller agreement with Nigeria’s Intelligent Nodus Solutions (INS). INS will distribute the Cartula maternity solution as Mama Pride in Nigeria. This marks another step towards Cartula’s goal of improving the quality and accessibility of healthcare for those that need it most.
Nigeria has one of the highest Maternal Mortality Rates (MMR), globally accounting for approximately 20% of all deaths and Intelligent Nodulus Solutions CEO, Rufus Ohiowere, is committed to improving health outcomes for mothers and children. “We will use our mama pride app to enable professionals (doctors, nurses, physicians etc) and customers interact seamlessly thereby bringing about added value and improving the maternity space within Nigeria”.
David Bowie, Cartula International’s CEO, commented “Nigeria is Africa’s largest economy and Cartula is working with INS to help address access to health care in Nigeria. Cartula is excited about the prospects of working with INS as our first step into the African continent”.
Cartula is an Australian owned company that currently has a presence in Nigeria, India, Indonesia and Australia. Our localised products provide education, access to healthcare and eMR integrated solutions are designed with a patient first view of health care.
